The PowerPlay Foundation is based in Walmer Township in Nelson Mandela Bay. In the past, we have had pitch-and-play programs where we go to a park in the township and play cricket as well as educate kids on how to play cricket. We select kids from the community who show potential in cricket and train them in a team environment as well as introduce them to playing matches. The kids that excel can stand a chance to develop their education but ultimately we want to produce kids that will take what sport teaches them (teamwork, hard work, dedication, consistency, and discipline) and become members of their community that make a positive change. 

With your help, we wish to introduce other sports and activities in which all the kids in the township can take part, such as rugby, hockey, netball, and artistic activities such as music and drama.
